LeapFrog® Leapster® Learning Game System - Green
Amazon.com
Here is one handheld gaming system that both parents and kids will be able to agree upon. The Leapster Learning Game System takes the brain-building principles that Leapfrog laid out in its earlier electronic learning devices (which have an interactive book format) and applies them to a video-game format. Leapster draws kids in with familiar video game templatesall of which have a secret weapon: a built-in learning component. LeapFrog hopes that kids will become so engaged in the gaming aspects and familiar television and movie characters offered by this toy that they wont even notice that theyre learning and reinforcing valuable reading, math, and language skills. Aimed at 4- to 10-year-olds, the 6-by-4-inch Leapster is sized for little hands and comfortably shaped with safe, rounded edges. Almost Perfect
The little girl that I bought this game for just turned 3 and she loved it! Her parents had to limit the time she used it because they couldn’t get her to stop playing with it…

Leapster
My four year old grandson loves his Leapster. He takes it in the vehicle with him when we need to go to town - a 45 mile trip and plays it all the way.

has my vote
I manage an afterschool program for k-8. The kids love playing the game and I love the leapster since all the games are educational.

I bought two of these from Amazon for Christmas ‘08 for and within a few weeks of my sons playing with them, both had died.

A winner!
We started out with one Leapster but we had to buy another because both kids were always fighting over it. My kids are 4 and 7 years old.

great toy!
My four year old carries this camera around everywhere. I am so glad I got it for him. He has had so much fun with it and he doesn’t even realize he’s learning at the same time!

Perfect for a 4 year old grandson
I bought this toy for my grandson’s 4th birthday. He loves the idea that his name appears when he turns it on.

GREAT!
We bought this for son’s 6th birthday. I thought he’d be too old for it, but he loves it! He has four games: Kindergarten (available at Wal-Mart for $18), Outwit, Diego’s Animal…
